Each site that has its own separate domain name, such as www.549SMS.com, requires an annual fee for the registration of that sites domain. With a total of 13 individual Atlas Squadron sites, the annual cost of registering each site in its own respective domain becomes very expensive. All 13 Atlas Squadron web sites, including www.549SMS.com, have been merged into a "master" site, www.AtlasMissileSilo.com. The consolidation of the 13 Squadron sites into a common site makes the update and maintenance of web sites simpler and much less costly to present.
